| The Milkins Family
My name is J Milkins. My husband and l
are parents of five gorgeous children. We may not be a family with much
financial wealth but we are a family flooded by much wealth in love and
happiness.
Our children
over the years, their journey through life hasn't always been easy but they
wake each day with the determination to enjoy it.
Our
eldest (sixteen years), is Hearing Impaired relying on the
assistance of an hearing aide (sensorial neural deafness) .(B)
(fourteen
years) is at present under investigation for severe migraines/seizure
like collapse caused by "scars" known as freckles on her brain She
has a MRI to keep a check on them. (K) (eleven years) and (C) (ten years)
are Autistic. With their little quirky compulsive and anxiety disorders, they
do have unique personalities. (J) (eight years),our youngest, is my little
shadow, so shy but so affectionate and grown up.
Our
three daughters and myself ,we have, Long QT
Syndrome. A bit of a bummer but deal with what you're dealt with and choose to
enjoy each day or not.
Our children are "awesome" and we are so very proud of them. (They
choose to enjoy their days). And you - WOW, you're our angel as is Ms Connell.
Today's news was incredible, fabulous and a simple thank you surely doesn't seem
quiet enough. Your kindness and generosity is unbelievable. When you begin to
loose a little faith, such kindness reinforces it all over again.
Thankyou Mr Bury. Thank you very much Williamstown Rotary Club. Thank you from
my husband myself and the children from the bottom of our (unique) hearts. Your gift
is magic and so very much appreciated.
We look forward to meeting you,
Regards
J Milkins and family.
Editors Note: Two portable defibrillators were donated to this one family because the children attended two schools. One unit was donated by the Rotary club of Point Gellibrand Williamstown and the other unit by Laerdal Australia. Training was given to both schools on the units by the Station Officer from Korumburra to whom I am most gratefull. |
